Month In Review: June

Dear Book Reader,

June flew by and I flew through a few books!  It was a pretty crazy month, so I’m surprised that I got six books read.  Here’s what they are:

  1. Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  2. Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
  3. Zoe Letting Go by Nora Price
  4. The Treatment by Suzanne Young
  5. Alice In Zombieland by Gena Showalter
  6. Toxic by Sara Shepard

My favorite from these six was Zoe Letting Go.  I loved it!

I, sadly, didn’t get any reviews posted this month.  I do have a number to get posted though.

Check It Out Fridays #10

Dear Book Reader,

Here we are again, at another Friday.  I can’t believe this is the tenth one of these posts I’ve made.  The list doesn’t seem to be getting smaller, does it?  I’ve been doing so well about not checking out many new books each week, but of course a bunch of books on my TBR list were sitting on the new YA shelf or on the holds shelf this week.  I don’t have much time to read right now either!  Here’s a look at what’s new and renewed for this week!

First Time Check Out:

  • The One Safe Place by Tania Unsworth
  • Earth Girl by Janet Edwards
  • Earth Star by Janet Edwards
  • Dear Killer by Katherine Ewell
  • The Break-Up Artist by Philip Siegel
  • The Chance You Won’t Return by Annie Cardi
  • Salvage by Alexandra Duncan
  • The Heiresses by Sara Shepard
  • Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Page
  • Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
  • Space Mountain by Bryan Q. Miller
  • Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira

Checked Out Again:

  • Asunder by Jodi Meadows
  • Double Digit by Annabel Monaghan
  • Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
  • Premeditated by Josin L. McQuein

Renewed Again:

  • Fates by Lanie Bross
  • Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott
  • Defy by Sara B. Larson
  • Panic by Lauren Oliver (holding onto two copies…)
  • Road Rash by Mark Huntley Parsons
  • Ask Again Later by Liz Czukas
  • Nil by Lynne Matson
  • School of Charm by Lisa Ann Scott
  • Split Second by Kasie West
  • Pivot Point by Kasie West
  • Diamonds & Decit by Leila Rasheed

That’s so many books and I hardly have time right now to do any reading!  Why is it that, as soon as my library’s summer reading program starts I have no time to read?

Read On,

Liz
